How the desk works
Create a desk, connect trade-only, then complete a separate North Star enrollment if you want the engine. You elect. The engine executes the published card. We never recommend a pair. How we stay on the right side of the line is on /legal.
Getting started now
Long guides and payment come later. Kent emails the Adobe PDF. The desk and the APIs already work.
- Create your desk — 18 or older, not sanctioned. No exchange keys.
- Connect trade-only — name the key and the whitelist. Withdraw stays off.
- Kent emails the PDF, or you record the election at Enroll.
- Your paper card runs. Open Your automations for last, vs-entry %, and paper ROI. Performance is the same record by pair.
- Plug in at Desk API. The engine pulls GET /api/v1. HMAC still needs the pair you already elected.
- Kent stays signed in on Control. Admit opens a desk with no payment. Watch is read-only — we do not trade as them. Staff he grants can watch and help. They cannot grant others.
Saved configs
You may save your own elected config. Applying one fills the create form — pair, sizes, ladder, and exits — not just the type. Reinvest on longs is locked at 0%; a non-zero request is refused. This is not a marketplace. We do not recommend or rank templates.
Elections
Creating a bot records the pair, direction, and parameters you chose. Changing take-profit or stop-loss later requires a new election. A new pair or direction needs a new automation. We do not flip in place.
Paper store
A quiet GET does not rewrite the paper store. Session last-seen updates at most once a minute. An idle bot on an unchanged mark does not tick last. Fills, elections, and starts still write. We never recommend a pair.
Keys stay off this website
We refuse withdraw-capable keys; this website never stores keys. The tenant vault is Kent-gated; this website never stores keys and never arms live. Paper uses public tapes. Live, when the owner arms a local executor, stays off this website.
Trade-only probe
A paper trade-only probe records trade true, withdraw false, transfer false. Simulate a withdraw-capable or transfer key and the probe is refused. We never recommend a pair.
Venue IP, passphrase, subaccount
You elect venue IP allowlist, whether a passphrase is required, and a subaccount label on /desk/connect. We record. We do not pick IPs. Passphrases and keys are not stored on this website. Live venue IP check later. We never recommend a pair.
Magic link
Request a local token at /magic. Magic link is local-only. The token is shown once. We do not email yet. Replay of a used token is refused. Expires in 15 minutes.
2FA (TOTP)
TOTP is optional on paper. Enroll at /desk/security or read /security. Secrets are not emailed. We never recommend pairs. Passkeys and live step-up come later. No SMS.
Email verify
Verify is local-only at /verify. The token fills the apply form. We do not email. Paper trading is not locked while unverified. We never recommend pairs.
Viewer
A viewer watches the desk; the customer still elects, and we never recommend.
Paper demo
Try paper demo opens a sandbox tenant. Paper fills only. Live writes stay refused. The demo cannot arm a venue.
Signal webhook
This is the 3Commas-style plug. GET /api/v1 is the REST catalog. A desk Bearer token pulls one user. Control or a platform token pulls enrolled desks. POST /api/hooks/signal with HMAC still starts matching cards. JSON must repeat pair and elected:true. We do not infer a pair. Exchange secrets never appear.
Paper fan-out
One elected HMAC signal may fill every matching paper election. Pair and direction must be repeated. The operator elects the Floor secret at /admin. We do not infer. Not an exchange key.
TradingView alerts
TradingView / Pine may fire a paper signal only if the payload repeats the pair and direction you elected. A ticker-only Pine alert is refused. HMAC required. We do not infer a pick. We never recommend a pair.
Order style
You elect market, limit, or post-only — we record the order style and do not pick; paper limit/post-only rest until the tape crosses (post-only never takes). Start refuses a post-only that would take. Paper limit fills can be partial; overview tiles, Table, and Portfolio label the leftover rest. Table can Start or Close. Start stays hidden while a rest is open. Cancel or replace a rest; a stuck rest is cancelled after four quiet ticks.
Safety ladder
You elect on-book or place-when-hit for remaining safety orders; we record that election and do not pick. On-book rests every remaining rung. Place-when-hit lists the next one. A jump fills each crossed step.
Drawdown pause
Paper DCA pauses at 25% versus your average entry. The deal stays open. Last still follows the tape. You resume or panic close. This is a circuit, not a pick.
Login lockout
Eight failed passwords lock that email for 15 minutes. The eighth failure is still a mismatch; the ninth is refused as too many tries.
Paper write budget
Each desk has a fair paper write budget. Overview shows used / 120 this minute. Creates, starts, and other elections spend it. Tape ticks do not. When it is used, further writes are 429 and the desk says wait and retry. We do not pick.
CSRF
Mutating desk writes refuse a cross-site Origin. A wrong CSRF token is refused. Same-site cookies are Lax. We do not infer.
Paper backtest
Replay an election on that bot's own tape at /desk/backtest. We do not invent bars or pick a pair. We never recommend a pair.
Paper stream
The desk stream walks the tape and pushes fills that already executed so you do not have to poll. The sidebar and a bot-page GET watch without ticking last or filling safeties. We never recommend a pair.
Install the desk
You may install the paper desk. Live writes stay refused. We never recommend a pair.
Price chart
The bot page shows the elected pair's tape. No overlay. We never recommend a pair.
Journal
Your notes on your elections live at /desk/journal. We do not write them. A viewer cannot record a note. Copy that ranks a pair is refused.
Telegram remote
You may elect paper Telegram remote (pause, resume, panic, or status on a bot you already own) at /desk/telegram. The checkbox keeps the election you recorded. No Telegram bot. We do not infer a pair from a chat.
Paper alerts
You may opt in to email, Telegram, or SMS notices of fills that already executed at /desk/alerts. We record that election. This prototype does not send. Not advice. We never recommend a pair.
Time-stop
You elect how many hours a DCA deal may stay open. We list that deadline on Portfolio as a reduce-only paper order. Zero hours means off. We do not pick the clock. Leftover after scaled exits still waits for this stop, a stop-loss, a trail, or you.
Scaled exits
You may elect scaled take-profit levels (percent and portion); we record those exits and do not pick the levels. If the portions do not cover the whole deal, leftover inventory stays open. We do not dump the remainder.
SmartTrade
You elect the bracket (pair, direction, size, take-profit, stop-loss; trailing optional); we record it and do not pick.
Grid spacing
You elect arithmetic or geometric spacing. We do not pick the spacing.
Trailing grid
You may elect a trailing grid (re-center when the mark walks beyond your range by a percent you set) or a range-exit; we record those elections and do not pick the range.
Combined grid + DCA
You elect the grid lower and upper — we do not invent the band. Combo: you elect the band and the DCA safety ladder; we record both and do not pick the mix. Inventory waits for Start. The next safety is a place-when-hit paper order on Portfolio, not a live book.
Sanctions screen
Signup records your region, sanctions attestation, and that you are 18 or older. Denied regions are refused. This is not a live OFAC feed and not advice. We never recommend a pair.
Best execution and conflicts
You elect the venue, pair, direction, and order style. We route to that venue only. We do not pick a market for price. We do not take payment for order flow. We do not internalize. Paper fills walk the public tape — not a best-execution claim. We never recommend a pair.
FIFO lots
FIFO lots are an internal paper record. Short-term / long-term is a holding-period flag, not tax advice. The exchange is trader of record. Download the FIFO CSV from Portfolio. The fill CSV on Trade history uses the same rule — never your email.
GDPR export / erase
Export your elections, bots, fills, and journal from the Data page. Erase removes the tenant, ends the session, and drops local reset and magic tokens for that email. Elections, audit, and execution records are kept 400 days, then pruned. Exchange keys were never stored here.
Deal replay
Deal replay on the bot page is a forensic record of elections, fills, and execution steps. It is a replay of what we executed, not advice. We never recommend a pair.
Activity tape
The activity tape on History is a record of what we executed, not advice. It lists fills, skips, pauses, and venue classes we recorded — we never recommend a pair.
Support tickets
Open a paper ticket at /desk/support. This is a paper inbox; no mailer. An operator records an ack first, then may type a follow-up on /admin. Replies never recommend a pair. A viewer may open a ticket on their own account.
Keyboard and contrast
Skip to main content, keep a visible focus ring, and meet contrast so the desk works from the keyboard. We never recommend a pair.
Lot size
Paper fills round to the pair's lot size. Sizes below min qty or min notional are refused.
Client order id
Every paper fill carries a client order id. A replay of the same id is ignored. Start, signal, and panic send a request clock. More than 30 seconds off is refused. We do not fix clocks.
Paper spread
Paper market fills use a 5 bps spread model. Limit fills stay at the elected limit. This is not a venue quote and not a pick. We never recommend a pair.
Connect an exchange
API name, API secret (not saved), whitelist label LumenBotFi. Connect shows this computer's public IP to paste on Coinbase. Public last on Exchanges proves the venue answers. We do not measure venue fees. We never recommend a pair.
Paper depth
Paper maker placement checks a 0.05 BTC depth model. If the elected size does not fit, we skip. This is not a venue book and not a pick. We never recommend a pair.
Paper balances
Paper balances are a desk snapshot, not a live venue wallet. Idle cash stays on the venue. Working paper orders are place-when-hit, not a live book. This website never holds keys.
Password reset
Request a token at /reset. This prototype shows the token locally — no email send yet. The token fills the apply form. A successful reset invalidates the old password and other sessions.
Session revoke
Signed-in desks list sessions and can revoke another device. A customer or staff session lasts 8 hours. Master stays signed in 12 hours. Extra master logins do not kick the first session. A customer desk keeps at most five concurrent sessions.
Venue halt
An operator can halt a venue. New starts on that exchange are refused until resume. Global halt blocks new automations.
Dust flatten
Leftover qty below this pair's min qty or min notional is flattened reduce-only. That is not a take-profit and not a pick. Start refuses a size that is already dust.
Pair halt
An operator can halt a pair you type. Delisted or halted pairs do not get new entries; flatten is reduce-only. We do not pick the pair.
Venue maintenance
Scheduled maintenance pauses new entries; it is not a halt and not advice.
Tape and clock chaos
We pause or refuse; we do not invent fills when the tape or clock is untrustworthy. Duplicate signals are refused. Hook timestamps more than five minutes off are refused. We do not fix clocks silently.
Paper outbox
We record what we would send; we do not fire live callbacks yet. Rows are idempotent. Not advice.
Read-only impersonate
An operator may elect a read-only view of one customer desk at /admin/impersonate. Click a bot to open its paper page. Start, panic, and rotate stay refused until you stop the view. We do not act as them.
Paper demo sandbox
/demo opens a paper sandbox with sample elections: ETH DCA (started), SOL grid, LINK signal. Live writes stay refused. We do not rank pairs.
Public last tape
Markets show public last from the venue tape. We do not rank pairs. Paper bots use that last when the executor is online. We never recommend a pair.
Decision Center
Sign in as the operator and you land on Master Control. A customer signup only opens their own desk — they cannot open /admin, impersonate, or the inventory API. Master control at /admin prints three gates as recorded yes/no: paper ready, live writes refused, vault unarmed. Keys on website stay never. Live arm is Kent-gated on the local executor. This website never arms. We never recommend a pair.
Deal caps
Max 8 open deals per desk. A resting limit counts. Max 24 new deals per calendar day. Paper max notional is 0.25 BTC of elected size (base plus the safety ladder). Panic-close opens before starting another if you are at the cap.
Changelog
/changelog lists what shipped. It is not a performance record and does not rank pairs.
